We are a licensed Japanese antique dealer (古物商許可) and every single card in our catalogue is inspected by hand in our Osaka storefront. If you ever receive a card we sold you and a reputable grader or authenticator rules it counterfeit, we refund the purchase price in full — plus return shipping. No re-stocking fee, no arbitration, no debate.
The inspection
Six checks, every card, no exceptions.
Black-light scan
Every card is passed under a 365nm UV source. Real Japanese print reflects a cool white; most counterfeits glow blue or purple.
10× loupe inspection
Rosette printing dots are checked for pattern, colour registration and density — the single fastest tell for a reproduction.
Stock thickness
Japanese print runs use ~305μm stock with a distinctive stiffness. We measure the corner against a reference card for every order.
Reverse print alignment
We check the Pokémon back-print against the known print run — corner flourishes, colour hue, and text spacing must all match.
Edge & centering
Corners checked for factory cut, edges for rough whitening, and centering scored top-bottom and left-right.
Provenance recorded
Every card is photographed and its source logged — release queue, Pokémon Center receipt, tournament prize, or dealer trail.
Condition
No soft Near Mints.
We grade conservatively. Our Near Mint is your Near Mint. If we can see whitening on a corner at 10×, the card is graded down — even if the naked eye would call it Mint. If a card has a centring issue that would cap its PSA at a 9, we note it. The photo on the listing is the exact card you're buying, including anything we'd rather you didn't see.
We reject about one in six cards that comes through our door. Those cards don't get quietly discounted and shipped to an English marketplace — they go back to the source.
Returns
Simple returns, written in English.
7-day inspection window
Receive the card, check it under your own light, decide. We accept returns on any raw single or sealed product for 7 days after delivery.
Fakes · 100% refund, forever
If a card is ever ruled counterfeit by PSA, BGS, CGC or a comparable authenticator, we refund the full purchase price — no time limit.
Graded slabs · no misgrade returns
Slabs are sold as-graded. We don't refund because a card didn't re-grade to your preferred tier, but any cracked case in transit is replaced or refunded.
